Self Employed Support Grant Phase 2

Just a quick update as it been a quieter time for the news from HMRC
If you are eligible, you can make a claim for the second SEISS grant on 17 August 2020
The scheme is not open yet and details can be found  here, the application process should be the same as the 1st grant
Again, details of who can claim , the reason you can make a claim and the records to keep are here.  Our advice is to keep as much information as you can , income records each month, extra hours worked, for example and make notes and keep them safe just in case. If you know you have been affected then you should know why
HMRC send us weekly updates and they are continually sending reminders about the option to repay the grant if it was claimed in error . If you received the grant before 20 July 2020 you have until 20 October 2020 to repay without any penalty details are here
